Welcome to our classroom! 

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Burbank, California,  I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University, Northridge, followed by a Master of Arts in Education and a Teaching Credential from Pepperdine University.

Before stepping into the classroom, I supported students with special needs in personalized, one-on-one settings.  I have proudly served the Duarte Unified School District community for 22 years, teaching Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 5th grades, as well as multi-grade combination classes. 

Outside of the classroom, I cherish time with my husband, teenage son and daughter.
